Caitlin Williams

Professional Experience 

Caitlin is a registered physiotherapist with over 10 years of experience working in cardiorespiratory care, and the founder of what was formerly known as Balanced Breath Physiotherapy. Form Physiotherapy has brought Caitlin on as part of the team, and Balanced Breath now operates as part of Form. She strongly believes that everyone should have the accessibility to healthcare services in order to optimize their health and quality of life.

After graduating with degrees in both Science and Physical and Health Education from Queen’s university in Ontario, she completed her Master of Physiotherapy at Curtin University in Perth, Western Australia.  After completing foundational rotations in Australia, Caitlin moved to London, UK and worked initially as a specialist respiratory physiotherapist and later as the Deputy Clinical Specialist for Critical Care at major teaching hospitals. She relocated back to Canada in 2019 after accepting a position with Vancouver Coastal Health (VCH). Her most recent post within VCH was as the Physiotherapy Clinical Resource Therapist for Cardiorespiratory diseases, supporting education and practice within this field. Caitlin currently works at the University of British Columbia as a lecturer for the Master of Physical Therapy Program and continues to work clinically both within critical care at VCH as well as treating at Form Physiotherapy. Caitlin is currently the Chair of the Cardiorespiratory division of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association.
