Professional Experience

Jennifer Chew graduated from the Masters of Physical Therapy Program at the University of British Columbia. As an athlete from an early age, Jennifer has experience in many sports including figure skating to dance to bodybuilding to cross-country and marathon running.

Jennifer believes in the body's resiliency in adaptation and recovery, hence the importance of pre-habilitation instead of merely focused on rehabilitation. She enjoys working with clients in all walks of life, having treated varsity level athletes to instructing group fitness classes with seniors.

As a previously competitive road runner and a personal trainer with more than a decade of experience, Jennifer brings expertise in conducting running assessments and exercise programming specifically in corrective exercise and strength and conditioning programs. Jennifer has also added Shockwave Therapy to her skill set, which she has found to be a favourable treatment for many clients.
